Piñatas have been part of the Mexican tradition for hundreds of years, bringing celebration and joy to the people involved.
The Mex y Can Association of Manitoba is pleased to share with you the Piñata tradition and to involve people in this handcrafted process. Learn what they represent, and the history of the Piñata.

In partnership with Fab’s Creations the Mex y Can Association of Manitoba Inc. invites you to come take in a Piñata and Mexican Toy exhibit as well as take part in make your own Piñata workshops, where you will have the opportunity to make your own Piñata and learn about its origins and meaning. Breaking of a Piñata for the public (times will be posted at the event).

We will be located in the Main Reception Area. workshops: Friday 4-6pm Sat: 12-2 & 3-5pm Sunday 12-2 Pinata Breaking will be 3pm (Weather Permitting) Nuit Blanche: Saturday from6pm-1am Cash Bar, Music, Special Adult workshops
